I know Jesus Christ lives and He is our Savior. Through Him, we can return to God, our Heavenly Father.

 Quero testificar que Jesus Cristo vive, e Ele expiou por todos os nossos pecados. Através de sua expiação podemos ser salvos. Eu sei que Deus é nosso amoroso Pai Celestial, e ele nos ama muito. Deus fez um para nossa felicidade. Eu sei que famílias são eternas. Eu sei que O Livro De Mormon é verdadeiro e d'A Igreja De Jesus Cristo Dos Santos Dos Últimos Dias é a verdadeira Igreja na Terra. Em nome de Jesus Cristo, amém.

 

I want to testify that Jesus Christ lives, and He paid for all our sins. Through His Atonement we can be saved I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father, and he loves us very much. God made one for our happiness I know that families are forever I know that the Book of Mormon is true and the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on earth. in the name of jesus christ amen

9/16/24 - Dom De Línguas é real

 MTC week dois

We started Integration this week, it's kinda crazy how much I can understand.  And how much I can speak. It's a lot more than I thought.  The gift of tongs is definitely helping a lot, cause I know it's not me.

Something that I forgot to mention last week is the the first dinner I had at the MTC President Calderwood and his wife sat next to me and my companion.  We got to chat with him for a while. I learned that his dad used to keep bees as a hobby. So were able to talk about bees for a while.

I've met a few more people that I know here (no pics, sorry) I've met Elder Lovell, and Elder Chivers, my cousin from Washington. It's super cool seeing people I know here.

This Sunday the Nashville tribute band came to the MTC and played for us their tribute to the Book of Mormon. The song that stuck out most to me was Wiked man.  It's crazy how much is said by Omni in ust 3 verses. You should look into it it's pretty cool. Omni 1:1-3

Also this Sunday I was reading a conference talk by Ezra Taft Benson 1989 and I had the realization that the Book of Mormon was written specifically for our day. I have always thought that the Book of Mormon was written for the Nephites and the Lamanites but we could also apply it to us.  But those people never had access to the Book. It was compiled after most everyone had become wicked.  It was written for us.

34 Behold, the Lord hath shown unto me great and marvelous things concerning that which must shortly come, at that day when these things shall come forth among you. 35 Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing. (Mormon 8:34-35)
